On Memorial Day we headed up to Pine Valley and had breakfast with Dustin's family. It was a lot of fun having everyone together, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. The weather was so nice up there. It was a Great Day!!

Memorial Day Weekend

On Saturday, the weekend of Memorial Day we went to our Aunt and Uncles and went swimming with Dustin's family. It was so nice to be able to spend time together as a family since Dustin is always working. The girls love to go swimming. They had a Great time. Definitely a nice and relaxing day. So FUN!!!

Back at the very end of May Dustin and I took a couple of days off. We left the kids with my parents and headed to Vegas. Dustin's work schedule is so crazy. He works so much that it was actually really nice to have some time together. We got down there on a Friday evening and went to dinner at my choice P.F. Chang's. Yummy!! On Saturday we went and got pedicures and massages, went to lunch at Cafe Rio, hung out at the pool, did some shopping and then went to Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. On Sunday we headed back home. Defiantly a fast little trip, but so much fun!! It was so nice to sleep in in the mornings and have a few minutes of peace and quite and just relax. Can't wait for another little get away. Maybe with the whole family next time.

I Know It's been FOREVER since I've blogged

Okay, so I know it has been way to long since I have had a blog entry. I keep telling myself and others that I am going to start back up, but then I get so distracted when I start looking at other peoples blogs and see how how cute and up to date they are that I overwhelm myself. I really do want to be better. Now that my computer is back and fixed I don't have any more excuses.
I don't want to forget all the fun times we share as a family. It's so fun to look back and remember all the good times that we spent with one another. My posts might be kinda random since it's almost been a year since I've have been on here, but I really am going to start Today!!

I know it has been forever since I have posted, like five months. Crazy I know. Life just gets so crazy and busy that I just don't take the time to do it. I really have no excuse though since I am on my computer all the time. My new goal from now on will be to post more often. How hard can that be right? haha Well my girls are growing up so fast. I can't believe my little baby is 7 months old. Time goes by so fast. It seems like just the other day she was born. I defiantly don't want to forget all the cute little things about my girls and family, so that is reason enough for me to be better.

Drastic or What?

Well last Sunday I was telling my husband that I wanted his help in picking out a darker color for my hair. I've always been blonde and never had a change. Crazy I know, especially as a hair dresser. My natural color is just getting darker as I'm getting older, so for now I just decided that I didn't want to try and keep up the blonde thing.

I was thinking about changing the color in a month or so. After I told him I wanted his help in choosing a color he went right in to the salon and came out with my color swatches. He said "I like this color." Just a little shocked at what he chose I agreed that I thought it was a pretty color. He said lets go color it now. So my husband colored my hair and he did a pretty dang good job for being the first time.

I actually am getting use to it and think that it's fun to have a change.

Haley's first day of Preschool

Haley has been so excited to start preschool. The only way to get her fully potty trained was to bribe her with preschool. Every time she would go potty she would tell people that "I get to go to preschool because I go potty every time."

August 14th was her first day. That morning she kept saying "mom I'm going to miss you". I told her that "I was going to miss her too." She said "Mom, it will be ok, I'll be back". Then one of the sweetest things she did was go over to her little sister and kiss her on the cheek and say "Ali I'm going to miss you so much".

Ali Kate was born on June 26th at 6:46pm. She weighed 7lbs. and 18in long. I was in labor for 12 hours. It was such a better delivery compared to my last. She is such a cutie with lots of dark hair. We are so thankful to have her here with no complications. What a blessing!!

Ready or Not

Well tomorrow is the big day. They plan to induce my labor tomorrow. One week early. Yes I defiantly am ready to not be pregnant any more. I'm a little nervous but I'm sure everything will be fine. Now we just await the phone call for us to come in. They told us to expect it anytime after midnight. Well we are anxious for our little Ali to join our family.

Photography Class

Last week I took this Photography class from two great local photographers, Stace and Kellie. This class was so worth it. I learned so much. It was great having a lot of hands on. It has been such a waste having such a nice camera that my husband bought for real estate and not knowing all the different things about it. One of the biggest things was learning about the lenses and seeing the differences. Yes the lens that came with my camera was not a very good lens. But I am so excited because I just got my new lens that I ordered today. Here are some of the photos that I took during our class. They defiantly aren't great due to my lens but at least I still learned a lot while shooting them. I'm so excited to keep practicing and hopefully getting better.

"Potty Training" Fun

I have tried for quite sometime to get Haley potty trained. Oh I did not realize how much work it could be. She use to just sit on the toilet for 20 minutes and never go. I could never get her to go. I tried bribing her with different things, but nothing ever seemed to work. She always would cry and say that she needed a diaper. So I just gave up for awhile. So the other day, she tells me that she wants to go potty on the toilet, so I take her and she actually goes for the first time. Yeah!! Now I'm thinking to myself oh could this be a better time. I've only got three weeks left in my pregnancy, I'm tired all the time and I don't know if I have the patience and energy to do this. Yes, it has been a long couple weeks of staying on top of this, but I think we are almost there. Yes, in the long run this will be nice to have done before the baby comes.

Pine Valley Fun

I took Haley to the water park over by main street on Friday. She had so much fun. This park is defiantly worth checking out. It has lots of fun water stuff for all ages of kids.

Haley was so excited when her dad asked her if she wanted to go golfing. She ran in the office to tell me. She was willing to do whatever I asked her to do before we left. She had so much fun. I couldn't believe how excited she was. Everytime she hit the ball she would have to run and go get it. It was pretty funny. Her dad will defiantely have to take her again.
